e-Lottery

Computerised, randomised lottery for transparent allotment of residential, commercial and institutional properties, from scheme creation to allotment letter.

What it does

A scheme is set up with its properties; applicants register and pay the brochure fee online, apply with documents, pay the earnest money and pick the property they want. The draw is randomised, respects reservations and quotas, and publishes results with an electronic allotment letter, a waitlist and refunds to those not allotted. An auditor can inspect every step.

Who uses it

The scheme administrator creates the schemes and properties, screens applicants and runs the draw. Applicants register, apply, pay the EMD and choose a property. An auditor has access to the logs and the audit trail for independent verification.

How it runs

The administrator sets up the scheme and lists the properties, the citizen registers with an OTP login and pays the brochure fee, applies with documents and passes eligibility screening, pays the EMD and selects a property, the randomised draw runs with reservations and quotas honoured, and the results go out with the allotment letter, the waitlist and the refunds.

In government, and in a private business

For a development authority or a housing board, the draw can be shown to a court or an auditor, the fee and EMD money is reconciled per applicant, and refunds go out automatically instead of by cheque months later. The scheme closes with a record, not files.

A private developer or a cooperative allotting units by draw has the same need: a draw nobody can argue with and refunds nobody has to chase. Would your buyers accept a draw they can verify?
