What it does

When a department supplies equipment to hundreds of schools, the installation and the repairs afterwards are the part that goes wrong. Here the vendor is registered, the project is assigned to it, each school raises its own installation or maintenance request, the vendor updates the status as the work is done, and the department watches every request to completion.

Who uses it

Schools raise the service requests and track their completion. Vendors see the requests assigned to them and manage the installation and maintenance work. The department’s administrator creates the projects, registers the vendors and adds the schools.

How it runs

In government, and in a private business

For an education department or any body that supplies and maintains equipment at many sites, the vendor’s claim that the work is done is matched against the school’s own request and confirmation, and pending requests by vendor are a report. Payment can follow completion rather than a certificate.

A supplier of machines, solar systems, water purifiers or furniture who owes installation and warranty service to hundreds of customers has the same request queue on WhatsApp. Would your service head like each request to have a number, a technician and a close date?
