Disbursement

e-Rent Disbursement

Automates periodic rent payments where government rents property from beneficiaries.

What it does

When a department occupies land or buildings that belong to private owners, it owes rent to many people every month, often with arrears from earlier periods. This platform keeps each hiring as a case, works out what is due and what is overdue, and moves the payment through verification and approval before finance pays the owner.

Who uses it

The administrator sets up the districts, divisions and villages the cases sit in. A maker enters cases, beneficiaries and payments. A checker verifies them, the sub-divisional magistrate approves the payment and any arrears for each case, and finance disburses to the owner.

How it runs

The geography is set up first, then the maker enters each case with its beneficiaries and the payments due, the checker validates the entry for accuracy, the magistrate approves the payment and the arrears, and finance transfers the approved amounts to the beneficiaries through the bank.

In government, and in a private business

For a district office, the rent roll of hired premises becomes a register with an approval trail on every payment, and arrears stop accumulating quietly because the case shows them. The owner is paid on a schedule, not on a reminder.

A business that leases from many small landlords, for example a retail chain or a telecom tower operator, pays rent the same way and carries the same arrears problem. The case, verify, approve and pay steps hold, with the owner or the finance head in the approving seat.
