What it does

A guest searches across all the properties in the group, picks a room and pays, and management sees the booking against the room calendar at once. Rooms, prices, discounts and services are set from one place for every property, and the public website is managed from the same system, so a rate changed in the office is the rate the guest sees.

Who uses it

Guests search, book, pay and manage their own reservations. Property management sets up the rooms, the rates, the discounts and the services. The administrator looks after the users, the settings and the configuration of the whole platform.

How it runs

The guest creates an account or signs in, searches the hotels, rooms and services on offer, chooses a room and completes the payment, management confirms the booking and updates the availability of that room, and the guest checks in and uses the services during the stay.

In government, and in a private business

For a state tourism corporation or a body running rest houses, guest houses and resorts, every property is bookable from one website and every booking is a payment already received, with occupancy and revenue per property readable by the head office. Walk-in bookings and online bookings land in the same calendar.

A family-owned group of hotels, a resort with cottages or a chain of guest houses runs exactly this. Does each of your properties still keep its own register, with the group figure assembled by phone at month end?
